Angela Seidu is the program cordinator of the funky readwrite clinic Since 2016. She holds a BSc in Family and Consumer Sciences from the University for Development studies, Ghana,  where she won a Mastercard foundation scholars program via Camfed Ghana Scholarship for her study.  Angela is dynamic, bold and very innovative which has helped the funky readwrite clinic improve its content and impact.

Deborah Yennupini Maalug is a medical student at the University for Development Studies. After medical school, she aims to specialize in Pediatrics and Child Psychology to help children battling with mental health issues and developmental challenges. To Deborah, being around children brings her pure joy, she always want to help them just to see them smile.

Fatimata Yahaya is a graduate of the University for Development Studies and a MasterCard Foundation Scholars’ alumna. She is in charge of the funky readwrite curriculum design and coordination.  A midwife by profession, which has made her passionate about Reproductive Health of women and adolescent girls.  Fatimata loves kids and is passionate about nurturing and helping them bring out their talents. This has greatly motivated Fatimata to join AYWO to help children to read, write and be creative and as a way of giving back to the society.

Achel Leonard is an our extraordinary media person, talented in-house photograher who knows exactly what to do with the camera. Achel is a graduate from the university for development studies, he is a spoken word artist, a writer and a talented instrumentalist.

Portia Dery is the founder and program design lead for AYWO . She holds BA Integrated development studies (IDS) from the University for development studies, Ghana. And a masters in Development studies from the institute of development studies (IDS), UK. She is passionate about  creating sustainable solutions to tackle educational inequalities.

Masahoud Codjoe is the resource lead for AYWO. With working expertise and experience in finance and accounting , Masahoud has an eye for details. He holds a degree in  development studies from the university for development studies, Ghana. Being a writer himself, he is deeply passionate about improving literacy rates
